What is DARQ?

DARQ is set of emerging technologies.

DARQ - Distributed Ledger Technology, Artificial Intelligence, extended Reality and Quantum Computing.

Distributed Ledger Technology:

A distributed ledger is nothing but having a digital data (database) across several locations or among multiple participants unlike traditional approach with a centralized database. There is no centralized administrator. Eg: Cryptocurrency and Blockchain.

Artificial Intelligence(AI):

Mimicking human behavior/intelligence is AI. 

Machine Language(ML), Deep Learning(DL), Natural Language Processing(NLP) makes AI the most wanted technology.

extended Reality(XR):

xR is an umbrella term for all the immersive reality technologies (VR, AR and MR)

Virtual Reality(VR):

VR immerses users in a fully artificial digital environment. This is completely taking you away from real world. 

Eg: 3D cinema and VR games.

Augmented Reality(AR):

AR overlays virtual objects on the real-world environment. Clear visual of what's happening in the real-world and without any disconnection.

AR is basically used to digitally place an object on the surface of a real-life existing body.

Eg: Leading retailer brands like IKEA, Amazon, and Sephora provide e-commerce shopping experiences over augmented reality mobile 

Mixed Reality(MR):

MR not just overlays (like AR) but anchors virtual objects to the real world. It brings together the real world and digital content.

Eg: Mixed Reality simulations are already helping medical students understand their patients better

Quantum Computing:

Quantum Computing is an area of computing focused on developing computer technology based on the principles of quantum theory.
